What should society’s appropriate response be to:
- Pathological greed
- An economic coup d’etes of America
- Millions of extinct species and vanishing rainforests
- Genocide of non-Western civilization and ancient ways of life all in the name of profit
- Nazi Capitalism — a few rotten eggs exploiting the Capitalist system
Tear Down this Wall Street is the story of the world Capitalists have built for us, how things came to be this way and what, if anything, we can do about it.
Veera shines an unorthodox light on many things you thought you knew about Western Civilization, and a few you probably didn’t. Capitalism has claimed it’s “our way or the highway” for too long now, mercilessly slaughtering every civilization in its path for the past 500 years. Is Capitalism the real Thousand Year Reich?
Hardly. Today, civilization approaches a dead end on the road we’ve been herded down. The Capitalist system may collapse under the weight of its own pyramid schemes, be finished off by the end of cheap oil, or end when People wake up— as we’re beginning to right now.
Social evolution, more than revolution, may already be underway. It started on the first day our Unemployed People’s Army occupied Wall Street, the World Capitol of Capitalism. What happens next is up to us.
The lessons Veera teaches us here are ones we should already know from history, but have forgotten. Understanding them now will prove crucial over next few pivotal years.

Loved this book! Easy to read and uses some great imagery that really lets you see what’s going on in the world today. The image of civilization as a pyramid of paper money floating in mid-air is awesome!
TH– Couldn’t agree more. That was a great image. The pyramid is tethered by electrical cables hanging from jets re-fueling in mid air.
That was definitely my favorite chapter in the book.
Superb posting, I share the same views.
it seems the very disagreements that the colonies had with kg3 have come to pass again. how did this happen? throw the wall st. tea into the harbor. at present the colonies have no better leader than we had in 1769. what happened in 244 yrs? the roman empire only lasted 5.5 centuries. is this why so many died to gain our independence?
GW- Thanks for the comment. The parallells between colonial America, the Roman Empire and today are clear. –Thom Veera.
